Project Overview

Zik Internet is a regional wireless internet provider offering connectivity across Jhelum and surrounding rural areas. I handled the entire project solo — from UI/UX design to development and deployment. The platform features a customer-facing website and an admin dashboard to manage services, connections, inquiriesand regional coverage. Built using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSSand Supabase, the solution is optimized for both performance and accessibility across all device types.

The Challenge

Creating a clean, mobile-optimized platform that’s easy to use for both rural customers and non-technical staff. The system needed to handle user inquiries, update service plans dynamicallyand support admin-level management—all within one integrated solution.

The Solution

Built the customer-facing site and a separate admin dashboard with protected routes using Next.js. Leveraged Supabase for backend services including authentication, real-time databaseand row-level security. Tailwind CSS ensured fast development of responsive UIs. Admins can log in to view inquiries, manage pricing, update coverage zonesand export data — all through a simple, mobile-friendly dashboard interface.

Results

Currently 85% complete and live for internal use. The admin dashboard reduced manual management by 70% and allowed the Zik team to instantly update service plans or respond to customer requests. The public site is fully responsive and already receiving form submissions and new customer inquiries from mobile users.
